QUA’PLA! It is Klingon Awareness Week, and therefor we are keenly aware of Klingons! We have Bob on because we can. We read a very kind and considerate letter from Captain Geko about the Mining Event being broken for KDF (and mock Nem for freakin’ out about it because this is like the first time we’ve EVER got the chance to do so). We also talk about how WE would fill up the Klingon faction. We try to get Terry to spoil “Alpha” for us, but she doesn’t bite. We also talk about how Territory Control with the KDF and Fed might be superior end game content, including PVE content, than what STO already has. And of course, we review Klingon Foundry missions! At least the ones we can.

The Shroud Terry (and Hav) are referring to isn’t an actual item. If you have at least two pieces of the Jem Hadar ground set from the 2800 featured episode series, you get the two piece set bonus which is called Shroud. It’s a proc that goes off pretty much at random (a small percent chance to actually proc it) which provides a personal stealth / cloak. It only works if you have two pieces or more out of the set. It’s nice when it procs but it rarely does since the chance to proc is very low.

Thanks to the entire cast of PodcastUGC for covering Klingon Awareness Week #2.

I really enjoyed Bob’s participation in the podcast. Good points all regarding my KDF Foundry mission, “The Song of Circe’s Demise.” I make no apologies, though. It was created in just six hours for Klingon Awareness Week #2! (Hey, we needed a kickoff mission for the event!)

I wish you guys had pointed out: This was intended mostly as an open team/STF type mission. I hoped to get KDF members to grind through it together. Team unity and all of that for KAW #2.

I also should point out: “Lieutenant Helna” was intended as a friendly nod/homage to Havraha’s Helna character. And I wasn’t aware that he would be releasing a Mirror Universe version this week, too. Such timing!

Also: If you wonder why it’s Lieutenant, not Ensign Helna, take a look at the Captain’s couch. And the two drinks on the couch. And the fact that this is the Mirror Helna… and she REALLY wanted that promotion… (ewwww…)

I’ll go back into the Foundry editor (with various recommendations from the podcast) and make a few edits, including Hav’s issue with the parentheses for the I.S.S. ships, like I.S.S. Reaper (Mirror Universe). (Bob: Thanks for recognizing the reason for their use. I see Hav’s point, though.)
