This is our version of a Daily mission! Updated every Thursday for the duration of the series, with new lore and new activities, so you’ll always have something to do in the Purity story!

Mission Description

A companion daily mission supplementing the storyline of Purity, your ship has been requested to engage in outbound freighter escort operations near the Megara System. While the exact nature of your mission is undetermined, you are being ordered to make sure that Federation property arrives safely at its destination.

This mission evolves with new freighter groups to escort with each installment of the main Purity storyline! Each new completion path offers clues to the plot that affects the very fabric of the Federation.

Freighter Group Alpha – (Best Played after Purity I: Of Denial)
Freighter Group Bravo – (Best Played after Purity II: Of Thought)
Freighter Group Charlie – (Best Played after Purity III: Of Honor)
Freighter Group Delta – Coming 24th of October

Purity I: Of Denial

We here at StarbaseUGC are proud to announce to you that Episode 1 of the Foundry Feature Episode Series, “Purity I: Of Denial” by Zorbane, will be available for all level 31+ Federation and Fed Aligned Romulan Captains to play starting tomorrow, October 1, 2013 at noon PDT!  Click here to read the previous blog post about that series on Cryptic’s Star Trek Online site.

Mission Description

The Federation has been in the throes of war on multiple fronts for multiple years and Starfleet has directed its priorities from exploration and discovery to sustaining its military machine in all sectors of the quadrant.

Exploratory missions are delegated to under-qualified personnel with little or no oversight by Starfleet Command. Their missions have also begun to include the acquisition of resources to aid in the war effort at any cost.

Now rumors have surfaced of a low ranking Admiral who may be taking advantage of situation and Admiral Kardena of the Starfleet Exploratory Division has finally gotten the authorization to launch an investigation.

Now what he needs is a ship, with an able crew.

This mission begins at the Malon System in the Beta Ursae Sector Block.

This week’s spotlighted mission is “12th Honor Guard: Episode 1” by Knuckles!

Mission Summary: You have been summoned to the Honor Guard Temple on the Homeworld to serve as a sword for the House of Martok.

J’mpok has become increasingly aggressive towards all enemies of the Empire in recent months. The Federation has sought peaceful resolutions, but attempts at diplomacy have been rejected at every turn.

Despite the High Council’s reluctance, Drex, son of Martok, has extended an olive branch of unity and seeks to end J’mpoks reign as Chancellor and restore Honor to the Empire.

Mission Summary: You have been selected for the prestigious Alpha Flight course, the Federation’s most elite pilot training program. Drawn from around the Federation and it’s allies, Alpha Flight pushes the quadrant’s best pilots to their limits. As stakes rise, egos clash and safety protocols are pushed to the wayside you realise not everyone is cut out for the course, and only a handful will graduate to receive the golden wings. Will you be another dropout, a line on a memorial plaque or will you meet the challenge and prove that you are the best pilot the Federation has to offer?

Depths of Nukara Prime/Bowels of Nukara Prime

This week’s spotlighted mission is “Depths of Nukara Prime” by P_Sutherland. A KDF version of the same mission, “Bowels of Nukara Prime“, is also being featured.

Mission Summary:
Civilian traffic in the Eta Eridani neutral zone has been caught in the violent clashes with the Tholian Assembly in the Nukara system.

When the crew of a freighter are forced to abandon ship, their only choice for survival means entering Nukara Prime’s atmoshphere. Would you expect someone to survive in a Class Y environment?

Hello my fellow Foundry Authors/Founders,

 

Hopefully by now you’ve all heard of the Foundry Authors Academy, if you haven’t why not read the full article on the STO website. And check out the Forum Post where we have some extra details regarding dates and FAQ’s.

 

The FAA, is a joint project between PrimetimeUGC, StarbaseUGC, Cerberus Films and Cryptic Studios, to provide comprehensive, fun and informative tutorials or “lectures” on the Foundry UGC Toolset, from the very beginning, all live.

 

We’re looking for experienced and knowledgeable authors to come and join us, to share their knowledge.

To take part, you’ll need to be free on Saturday the 6th of April, 12 Noon PDT/ 7PM GMT for 3 hours, as well as have access to a Skype Account and have an internet upload speed of 0.4mbps or better (you can test yours here http://www.speedtest.net/).
