Hello there all, this is Dionsol. I ran a walkthrough of Altexist mission Tipping Point. I thought I’d pass along the Youtube links for your viewing enjoyment
This is part 1 Of 4:
For those of you that missed the live screening of the teaser trailer, here it is!!!
Star Trek: Reunion is a machinima series created by the guys and girls here at SBUGC!
We are aiming for an early June release for the first episode.
Hello All
I would like to announce the arrival of Foundry TV… Otherwise known as the Cerberusfilms Livestream Channel.
Whilst the stream is not entirely devoted to STO/Foundry, it will be for 90% of the time (the rest will be amusing gaming and other videos I do with some awesome friends).
If there is any content you wish to be on there, just post a comment on the Foundry TV page.
New and exciting things will be on there way soon, including Star Trek: Reunion, every sunday at 5pm PST live, starting from the 12th of June.
I hope you all enjoy this stream, I may one day ask for donations to help support it if we go for some of the more advanced features.
Have fun my friends (this is all for you)

Hello! Having done fifteen episodes of Podcast UGC, Starbase UGC’s mp3 based podcast about the Foundry and Star Trek Online, I knew that although we had a bevy of listeners, listening just isn’t for everyone. Some people enjoy a little bit of watching in our modern internet era. Likewise, I’ve done enough of these video things to know that as great as a review of a Foundry mission is, ultimately nothing can compare to the kind of help (and fun) and author can have to see people actively play through their mission. We here at Podcast UGC decided that we could kill two birds with one stone by adding a new feature to the site: Podcast UGC Video Walkthroughs, where we pick particularly epic Foundry content, run through it together as a team with the mission’s author in tow for behind-the-scenes information, and ultimately have our typical hilarious time with a bit of Foundry showcasing in the process.
Over two days in the making (literally, my desktop has been four-core-crunching all of this stuff nonstop), we finally have posted our FIRST VIDEO WALKTHROUGH. Our first reviewed mission on Podcast UGC Episode 1 was “The Synidcate Extraction” while it was on the Tribble Test Server, so it only seems symmetric that our first video walkthrough would be the remastered, post-Q version of Galactrix’s spotlight mission. At 1 Hour 24 Minutes in 1080p High Definition, our walkthrough is a short movie, and so much content for your entertainment that sometimes I’m shocked we do this for free! So give it a watch! Click the youtube button to watch it on youtube and have more control over resolution options! Press the like button! Share with your friends and fleet! It exists for you (and Galactrix’s) benefit, so don’t pass it up! It’s a blast!
After months of hard work, burnouts, hiatuses and brief flirtations with other games. The Dissent series is finally done! Parts IV and V were published this morning.
Dissent IV: Our Solemn Hour
After Starfleet calls you before a panel of high-ranking officers, Admiral Kano sends you on a vital mission to secure ships from your adversaries to help take on the Romulan dissidents’ fleet. But be warned, not everyone will welcome you with open arms.
Dissent V: Skyline’s End
Take part in the final battle to end the dissident threat. But be wary, the leader of the movement may finally reveal himself.
This series is a balance between dialogue and combat. It is for Starfleet captains level 16+ and it it recommended for solo play. Screens and more information after the jump:
To launch my return to the very popular thread FILBONES REVIEWS YOUR MISSIONS, I’m unveiling my new editorial for the StarbaseUGC community: The Away Team Report, a weekly report from all the Foundry missions I play during the week. Unfortunately this one is skinny with content, but what it lacks with substance, it makes up with in quality. Every single one of the missions listed this week is very different, so whatever your taste, I’m sure that you’ll find something you will enjoy…
If you would like your mission reviewed in The Away Team Report, either visit my thread or post your mission advertisement at StarbaseUGC with the following details. However please abide by the Posting Guidelines. It also helps to have wiki Author and Mission pages
TITLE : What is your mission called?
AUTHOR : What is your STO Nick?
CODE : What is the Mission Code?
LEVEL : What level do I have to be to play?
LOCATION : Where does the mission start?

Hello Fellow Foundry Types
I would like to invite you all to log onto www.livestream.com/cerberusfilms on Sunday the 29th May at 5pm PST (2am Monday GMT) to see the live unveiling of a project of (we hope) Epic Proportions.
For a little over a month, a team of Foundry Authors (Based mainly from StarbaseUGC) including names such as Napoleon_Blownapart, Cass.io.peia, Sabredruid and Fanfiction Writer TerilynnS,(and many more) have been working tirelessly to make this dream become a reality, the first ever Fanmade Star Trek Online Machinima Series.
I hope you’ll join us for the special occasion where we’ll be releasing the teaser Trailer live on-air.
It’s amazing how you can disappear from the STO community for a brief time and people start to consider alternatives towards what you could possibly be doing with your life outside of the STO universe. Before going on my “Walkabout”, I set up a challenge for the community at StarbaseUGC. A one hour mission creation challenge.
There were two entries, both by reasonably new authors to the StarbaseUGC community at the time. They were Bazag and Cerberusfilms. Little did I know that these two Authors would become valuable assets to the STO Foundry Community while I was away. They have even become a formidable team, joining the ranks of StarbaseUGC chatterholics such as Chaddy18, LordOfPit, Soriedem and Castmodean just to name a few.
Speaking of formidable teams, be sure to check out the unveiling of the “Machinima” Project at www.livestream.com/cerberusfilms on Sunday the 29th at 5pm [PST]. Designed, written and created by the StarbaseUGC community. It’s a brand new series, made by Foundry authors in STO.
So without further delay, it is a pleasure to bring you Bazag at the Captains Table with “Memory Lane”. I have followed Bazag’s creations for quite some time and with every mission he creates comes something new and inspirational. It’s a pleasure to have been not only involved with this author’s evolution, but to finally be able to spotlight another Aussie in the STO community.

Following the climax of “The Breen” and “Cloaked Intentions” Feature Episodes, the current state of stellar affairs has been disclosed.
Seeing that the Preservers would have laced Iconia’s primordial ocean with its original DNA, Starfleet – after intense diplomatic negotiations – now has basic information about the Iconian race. But do the ties between the two ancient civilizations run even deeper?
When contact is lost with a unique Starfleet ship, near Iconia itself, all may be revealed.
Author’s Note:
This mission is heavily story based, and is intended to be the first part of an ongoing series.

While we mock Paramount’s audacity to create an entire themepark dedicated to JJ-prise, we also stumble upon the perfect purchaser of Cryptic Studios in this episode of Podcast UGC! Additionally we mull over whether or not we should play the remastered episodes pre-server-crashing or wait for the experience in all its burning glory on Thursday, while also finally reviewing three missions from the Foundry! It’s a solid 2 hour episode this week, guys!
I’d like to further apologize to Etherghost — listening back through the podcast, it sounded like I HATED the mission, and that’s not the case. I think I often get defensive about the validity of my critiques and end up making those critiques sound more damning than they actually are in the process.
This mission is good and I recommend everyone play it! I gave it 4 stars.

The Borg have established a foothold in the Cestus system. Despite this fact, Federation recon vessels have scanned what apears to be a military installation of Klingon design on Cestus III. Following the events of “Gave Peace a Chance”, how far will one Orion go to fulfill her love’s dream?
Over on the official forums, Leirus has suggested an excellent idea for author collaboration:
This is some side project in collaboration with two friends I have been starting to work on.
Since we have RP Fleets on both sides, I thought of a way for them to work together as a team on missions with our own settings. Also, it should involve more than 5 players. The solution came to me when I watched Return of the Jedi again the other day. Split them into teams, working towards the same goal, but dependant on each other! This requires some RP of course, but I assure you, the first few tests were great fun.
So, basically you do not create one big mission, you create three (or more). They can be done by different authors, obviously, so it might save the individual author a lot of time through collaboration.
(snipped for brevity)
The beauty is: All three missions would be “valid” missions on their own, but this is a way to create events, collaborate and create real dynamic missions, that could even include a kind of “Moderator/Gamesmaster” via the chat or the TS.

What do people think of this idea? It’s certainly a great way to encourage collaboration between different authors, while having a more realistic “Different teams working on different tasks” approach to problem solving.
